WomanTech Barcelona is a local community that meets in person to connect women in tech, share skills, and make role models visible. Organizing happens on Meetup.

What we work toward

• Name the barriers

  Identify the obstacles women face when connecting with technology, and look for ways to overcome them.

• Learn together

  Share education and resources so more women can build the skills they need in tech.

• Make role models visible

  Promote women in technology as references who can inspire others.

• Inspire the next generation

  Encourage young women to study technical careers and explore opportunities in tech.

How we meet

Events are organized on Meetup and usually take place at La Fuga Barcelona (C/ del Consell de Cent, 350, 08009 Barcelona). Typical formats are free evening meetups and speed-networking sessions. Organizing includes Xesca Alabart and co-organizers.
